Ward Eight Cocktail

"Named after the 8th ward in Boston. If you prefer a juicier cocktail, increase the orange and lemon juices by 1/4 of an ounce or so each. I like to keep the juice in the background."

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 fluid ounces rye whiskey
  • 1/2 fluid ounce orange juice
  • 1/2 fluid ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grenadine
  • Lemon peel for garnish

Instructions :

Prep : 5M Cook : 1M Ready in : 5M
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in whiskey, orange and lemon juices, and grenadine. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
