Annette's Great Ham Glaze |

Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup gold rum (such as Bacardi Gold®)
- 1/4 cup dark molasses
- 3 tablespoons spicy mustard
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions :

- Combine brown sugar, butter, rum, molasses, mustard, and cider vinegar in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring constantly, until sugar has melted and the glaze has thickened, about 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Notes :
- Cook's Notes
- For a darker glaze, use dark brown sugar instead of light.
- To use glaze, apply to reheated cooked ham, and heat for an additional 15 minutes.
